A long one for today, guys and gals, but I hope you'll indulge me. Avión is drinkable proof that positioning and branding is more than just fluff, as it can actually come to affect the taste of what ends up in your glass. And not in a wholly bad way.

Tres Generaciones is wisely positioned to be a little bit cheaper than Patron or Don Julio. What makes it incredibly appealing is that I think it's just as good, if not better than what the ultra-premium names have to offer. Overall Rating: ★★☆

The reposado from Hornitos isn't a bad product, per se, but it's an underwhelming mixer I think can be partially explained by its production process. Overall Rating: ★☆☆
A stupendous tequila that most have never heard of. If you've never had a "good" tequila you could enjoy neat and want your mind blown, this should be a mandatory starting point.
